ABOUT THIS SESSION

Not every investigator wears a badge. In this session, authors explore the many types of investigators found in crime fiction, from police detectives and private investigators to journalists, amateur sleuths, and specialists. They discuss the investigator characters in their own books, what makes each type unique, and why they chose those perspectives to tell their stories.
